Quality Assurance Department

Our Quality Assurance Department is made of experts in the field of health and safety management. Health and safety encompasses a great deal of how we operate our schools. We pride our schools on cleanliness and security. We promote these high standards in every school by visiting with franchisees and their programs twice each year. 

Our Quality Assurance Specialists have worked in the early childhood industry for many years. They understand the value of having a quality program. Using a quantitative review, each representative scores the program on health and safety compliance. Our standards exceed the minimum state standards and ensure our schools to be the best among our competitors. The members of this department walk each franchisee through all stages of new school development which includes licensing and business operation standards.

During bi-annual inspections, the following areas are evaluated:

  • child and staff records
  • state and local agency reports
  • nutrition and food preparation
  • facilities and maintenance
  • transportation vehicles
  • outdoor play equipment and play areas
  • educational materials
  • classroom cleanliness
  • appropriate room arrangement
  • the overall well-being of children and staff

Parents have the confidence that the Quality Assurance Department holds each school to the highest standards.
If problem areas are identified in facilities or infant child care, pre school or school age programs - the school submits a plan of correction to their Quality Assurance Specialist, holding a commitment to rectify any issues found.

The Quality Assurance Department also supports and assists schools while under construction, during the first weeks of operation and throughout each year. In addition to our members of the Quality Assurance Department traveling nationwide, visiting each childcare center twice per year, Kids ‘R’ Kids Corporate Headquarters staffs a rotating schedule for in-take calls, if families need to speak personally with someone at the Corporate Headquarters.

The Quality Assurance Specialists, in order to provide seamless services to our Schools/Academies and their families, have experience as classroom teachers, center directors, and regional childcare directors. This expertise enables each Quality Assurance Specialist to provide the type of support needed in maintaining excellence of service each child and his family deserves.
