Helping a HeroFebruary 03 2012
The owners, staff and children of our schools in West Frisco helped sponsor a family in need by selling cardboard bricks. Our families bought bricks and the kids were able to decorate them and build a house in representation of the house they were helping build for a wounded soldier and his family. The schools raised over $40,000 to help build this home in the West Frisco area. Kids 'R' Kids knows that this type of project is not only fun, but it helps show the children that when others are in need, and you are able to help, then you should rise to the occassion and put forth a valant effort. It also shows the children that we all pay a price to maintain our freedom as Americans. The owners of Kids 'R' Kids all across the nation meet at their conference once a year, and Helping a Hero is part of the many charities where money is raised. It's nice to give back to the community. It truly is a blessing.
