Elisa Shepherd Bio

Elisa Shepherd is the Government Relations and Public Policy Consultant at Kids ‘R’ Kids Corporate Headquarters. She has a national perspective on child care as she has worked as a teacher, administrator, curriculum developer, and teacher educator throughout the United States over the past 25 years. Ms. Shepherd joined the Kids ‘R’ Kids corporate team in 2006 as a Training Specialist.  Today, she uses her knowledge, expertise and communication skills to advocate for high quality care and education within child care programs. She serves the Kids ‘R’ Kids families as a voice within government offices that create laws and regulate child care programs.  Ms. Shepherd is not only a child care advocate, but a married mother of three and an active member of the Girls Scouts of America.
